  • Enhance your credibility by displaying the PRCA logo and using our designatory letters. Add them to your website, emails, stationery and other branding to show your clients, partners and colleagues that you mean business.
  • Access white papers, research documents and contract templates. You will also be able to use our  legal helpline at a discounted rate.
  • Stay up-to-date and in the know with what's going on in the industry, by reading your monthly copy of Communicate Magazine, delivered to you and complimentary.  http://www.communicatemagazine.co.uk

  • Access research documents, case studies, industry data, benefit from guidance and PRCA Insights.
  • Develop your skills as a PR and Communications professional by using our online and face-to-face training.  As a member you will qualify for discounted training and your first online training session is free. www.prca.org.uk/pr-training. We also offer bespoke training and an industry certified qualifications programme.
  • Due to the success of CMS (Communication Management Standard) with our Consultancy and In-house members we have now launched CMS for individuals. Our freelance members are encouraged to complete CMS which they can do at no extra cost to them through our external auditors.

''The PRCA Freelance CMS gives individual freelancers a best practice benchmark for conducting their affairs as well as providing a structure to help the freelancer establish and achieve their personal and professional goals.

Once passed, the accreditation can be used by the freelancer on all their correspondence, websites and blogs etc. and enhance their reputation in front of clients and within the industry.

The CMS Audit is carried out in conjunction with a consultation from Redfin (www.redfin.co.uk) who will assist in achieving the required standard to pass.''

  • Increase your visibility. Having passed their CMS individuals who are working as freelancers can opt onto our 'Freelancer Portal' which matches freelancers to consultancies and in-house teams, who need ad hoc or on-going support.
  • Discounted conferences and award entry.
  • Freelancers are listed in our PRCA Directory. This is a printed directory of all of our members and is distributed to over 7,000 Communications professionals to help them source professional assistance.

Should I consider Individual Membership as an alternative to Corporate (In-house or Consultancy ) membership?

If your organisation is not already a PRCA Consultancy or In-house member, we would certainly suggest considering this as option as the benefits of membership are available to all members of staff within the organisation. Contact our Membership Manager Steve Miller at steve.miller@prca.org.uk
