Overview

The International Communications Consultancy Organisation (ICCO), continues its support for the Young Lions PR competition at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2016. 

The UK Young Lions PR competition is open to all PRCA consultancy members who wish to enter their brightest talent in the UK version of the competition. The winners of this competition will go on represent the UK in the competition at Cannes in June 2016!

PRCA Consultancy members have until 5.00pm on Tuesday 1 March 2016 to pay the £250+VAT entry fee per team, and provide the names and email addresses of their two representatives. These should be sent to younglions@prca.org.uk

22 March: Finalists pitch to UK Jury in London

18-22 June: UK winners travel to Cannes Festival of Creativity for the Young Lions
PR Competition

The cost to enter is £250+VAT per team. The competition is only open to PRCA Consultancy members, and consultancies can enter multiple teams.
The UK competition will take place over a similar timeframe as the Cannes Young Lions PR competition: Thursday 3 March 2016 – 10:00am - Friday 4 March 2016 10:00am (24 hours).
The brief is provided by a PRCA Charity in-house member. It will be circulated by email at 10:00am on Thursday 3 March 2016.

Completed campaigns will need to be emailed back to the PRCA by 10:00am on the following day – Friday 4 March - in the form of a 10 page PowerPoint presentation and a written submission delivered as a Word document. This must be sent to younglions@prca.org.uk
The submitted presentations and written submissions will then be judged by a UK Jury.

The shortlisted teams will be invited to London on 22 March to deliver a 5 minute presentation to the Jury, explaining the PR campaign and the written submission.
Winners will be announced at Midday on Wednesday 23 March 2016.

UK Competition Requirements
Only two participants are required to form a team, consultancies are welcome to enter multiple teams. Each participant must be 30 years or younger i.e. born after 25 June 1985.
The participants must be able to travel to Cannes 18-22 June 2016
The PRCA will cover the cost of flights, 4 x nights’ accommodation, and delegate passes to Cannes PR Lions. All other costs will need to be covered by the competition winners.
Only PRCA consultancy members can enter the UK competition.
