EIAC Leadership Lesson with Cathy Owens

Event Type: Industry Event

Event Overview

The PRCA’s Equity and Inclusion Advisory Council’s (EIAC) goal is to increase the number of women in leadership across the communications and public affairs industry, securing their retention and fostering a community of support as women navigate their careers. To do this, we want to raise awareness of the barriers faced by women in our industry throughout their careers and find ways through personal experiences and practical guidance, about how to overcome these, in order to secure this change.

To help make this happen, the Equity and Inclusion Advisory Council is launching a series of Leadership Lessons, with candid conversations with leaders from across the communications space about topics including being your own boss, imposter syndrome, flexible working, and negotiating salaries to share first hand experiences and practical guidance on how we as an industry can improve. The first of our Leadership Lessons will be with Cathy Owens, co-Founder of Deryn on 26th October. We hope to see you there!
