Training Theory

“I like to approach each training session as a dialogue. I believe the trainer and delegates should exchange insights and examples so that the training material becomes alive and relatable and moves away from the being mere theoretical instruction. I believe there is a lot to learn from the manner in which communications is evolving in the dynamic, heterogeneous and fast-growing Middle Eastern region and would hope that delegates attending my training session will leave with a more realistic and rounded understanding of the communications landscape in the fascinating region I call home.”

Majdi’s largest portfolio over the course of his career lies in the Travel & Tourism industry and he has provided communications consultancy to a range of leading regional and multi-national tourism boards, city festivals, hospitality and aviation brands. Majdi is also a specialist in crisis management and has planned and executed several award-winning Pan Arab issues management and crisis communications campaigns. As a leading advocate of the public relations industry and its growing importance in the MENA region, he has spoken on topics such as: The Future of the PR Industry and Talent Development & Retention at regional and international forums such as the Communications On Top Forum in Davos, the annual MENA Crystals Festival in Beirut and the ICCO Summit in India. Majdi continues to make major contributions to capacity-building within the Middle East public relations industry, sharing his experience with young nationals, training other young Gulf Arabs, and holding regular speaking engagements at career days at schools and universities.
