The PRCA's Charity & Not-For-Profit Group gave evidence to the Hodgson Review of Third Party Campaigning with 70% of our recommendations being accepted by the Review.
We welcomed the government's suspension of the anti-advocacy contract clauses, but our work to protect charity freedom of speech is not over.
We will continue to press for reforms of the Lobbying Act and work with the Electoral Commission to improve guidance given to campaigners. We will also give evidence to the House of Lords Select Committee on Charities and work with partner organisations to protect the right to campaign.
