Globalisation and the resulting advancements in technology has blurred the line between what is personal and what is public. What was once considered personal and private information is now available in the public domain for all to see, use and manipulate to their benefit. This has led to the need to introduce privacy laws and data regulations across the continent and the globe.
This webinar focuses on the role and impact of privacy and data protection within the public relations and communications sector. What this means for the industry going forward and shines a spotlight on what this means for PR agencies and the advice they give their clients to manage data as a reputation risk and how agencies themselves manage their own risks.
Panellists:
Having all worked for a considerable amount of time within the industry, the recommended speaker line-up has a deep understanding of reputation, and the impact data, regulation and privacy can have. An international line-up will also allow for diversity of opinion due to diversity of experience.
