Jo Field, Chart.PR, FCIPR, MPRCA

Jo is the award-winning Founder and Managing Director of JFG Communications, a consultancy specialising in stakeholder engagement, political communications and diversity.

Named among the top 100 most influential women in Westminster and the top ten most inspirational women in public affairs, Jo has an 18-year track-record of success in helping companies engage their stakeholders, build advocacy for their plans, inform public policy, and set the direction on equalities issues.

An accomplished equality and inclusion leader, Jo advises and develops bespoke content, training, and initiatives to help her clients build diverse teams and create inclusive workplaces for all.

Before founding JFG, Jo worked at Transport for London where she built and led the company’s stakeholder engagement team and drove forward a number of pioneering equality and inclusion initiatives, including an award-winning accessibility campaign and an innovative youth panel.

Jo is especially passionate about addressing women’s under-representation in the transport, infrastructure and construction sectors. She helps organisations profile female role models and works with women to build their personal brands.  

Jo is a Board Member of Women in Transport and worked with parliamentarians to set up the first ever All-Party Parliamentary Group for Women in Transport in 2016. In the same year, Jo was named everywoman in Transport & Logistics Industry Champion for her work attracting and retaining women and inspiring young people to choose transport careers.

Jo is also a trustee of Living Streets, the UK charity for everyday walking.

Training Theory

Jo’s training approach is to create a supportive environment where delegates feel comfortable to participate and share their views and experiences.

Jo’s workshops are highly interactive and supplemented with industry examples and reflections from her own experience.

Workshops include activities to help delegates apply what they learn and actions they can put into practice.
