About Judi
Trainer Judi Goodwin specialises in helping people to access their creativity and has taught thousands of people to write more fluently and creatively. She combines a wealth of experience in journalism with a whole-person approach to help participants overcome their personal barriers.
She began her writing career in advertising and PR but initially battled with writers block when she made the transition to journalism more than 30 years ago. Always fascinated by how the mind ticks, she researched the psychology of writing and creativity to overcome her own difficulties. Now she passes on the techniques she learned to students in her inspirational workshops.
These have included members of the National Union of Journalists, financial wizards at The Bank of England, life term prisoners at HM Prison Styal and people with mental health challenges Manchester. Her methods build personal confidence and self-discovery – and she believes people learn best when they’re having fun!
