Agency Workers Regulations 2010 (“the Regulations”) came into force on 1 October 2011. They have a major impact on the temporary working industry in the UK and throughout Europe, requiring in particular considerably increased information flow between the hirer, the agency and the agency worker, as well as introducing significant new legal rights and protections for agency workers.
