Most people are familiar with the AA’s yellow roadside service vans which attend nearly 10,000 vehicle breakdowns per day, including those attended by the Special Operations Response Team during extreme weather such as flooding or snow. The AA attends home emergencies too and offers a Home Membership. The AA is in addition a leading provider of insurance and financial services as well as and b to b and b to c driver training programmes such as AA Driving School and BSM. The AA takes its responsibility toward members seriously, vigorously lobbying to bring policy changes that will help drivers and improve road safety. In 2014 the AA floated on the stock exchange heralding a new era for the 110-year-old motoring organisation.
